(Not a lot of details today… when I woke up my mind went immediately to work I needed to do)

*I’m inside a small living space, talking to the person who lives here.  We may be in a trailer park of some kind… it seems as though this is the cleanest trailer in the neighborhood.  I notice the person who lives here has paper towels, I walk over to the end of the counter as I’m talking and reach for a couple paper towels.. they have some kind of print on them.. green pattern.  I know this person keeps their trailer extra clean because all the surrounding neighbors have tons of cats, and this person is allergic to cats.

*I’m in a group area, there are a lot of people milling around… it feels like a convention center or gymnasium of some kind, but in the lobby area of it.  It is very crowded.

*I’m observing an office… I can’t tell if I’m actually standing in it, or just seeing the room from a distance.  TS is sitting in a chair… sitting upright and leaning forward slightly (like his arms are leaning on the arms of the chair) and I can see he is wearing a coat… he is talking to his boss, discussing schedules for this week.

I made a concerted effort to tell myself to remember my dream last night.  I think it does make a significant difference to repeat the phrase a few times just prior to falling asleep… even if your mind wanders afterwards, you’ll be more likely to remember your dreams in the morning.

My only problem today was I recalled the dream, told myself to write it down, then got up to get coffee first and lost it before I could get in front of the computer.  All I recall now is that it took place in an auditorium again.

*I’m in a house which runs alongside a river.  There is a flood… I can see the water level rising from a distance and it comes up to the house and continues to rise.  The house is equipped for this sort of thing, the windows here are water tight, large rectangular windows… they look like the walls of an aquarium.  I can see sea life swimming in the water through the windows… the water level is nearly to the ceiling but I can see the surface and sky above it.  There is an otter and a beaver swimming around in swooping motions… they appear to be fighting… the beaver looks angry, swimming rapidly towards the otter and butting heads with it.

*I’m inside a bedroom in my parent’s house with a room mate (friend from school?  I don’t recognize her)  We share a large bed (queen or king sized) and are visiting for a night (we might be in a B&B?)  I hear a noise near the window and walk over, flipping back the curtains I look down and see a giant bee hive is built into the wall.  I can see into the top, it’s as if a section of wall is cut out and someone put plexiglass over the top to look into the wall… the bees are milling around.  None are in the room yet, but it seems like they could chew through the wall and fly in at any second.  I walk backwards from the window and see a couple of insects flying around the room.  My friend is scared, up on the bed and covering herself with the quilt.  A bug lands on the covers and I try to swat it away by putting my hand under the blanket and flinging it back, but the bug bites through the covers.  I can feel the bite dig into the back of my right hand – it hurts like hell… burns slightly… and I shake my hand to get the bug off of me.  The shaking causes the bug to fall apart… I see appendages of the insect land in different areas of the room.  The bug looks like a termite:

However it is roughly three to four inches long.
There is another one on the floor, crawling towards me.  I pick up the base of my canister vac and drop it on the bug as it gets about halfway across the room.  I don’t want to step on it with my foot because I know it’ll make a horrible squishing sound under my foot and I don’t think I can handle the feeling of it.  I drop the vac on it wheel side down, and it wasn’t enough of an impact to kill the bug.  After a few seconds I see it crawl out from underneath the vacuum and crawl towards me again.  I jump over it, picking up the vacuum again I turn the vac on it’s side this time and slam it down to the ground on top of the bug.  The bug is crushed, but the impact causes it to explode into a wave of millions and millions of smaller termites.  They pour out of the impact site… apparently this was a queen who had been carrying babies.  I grab the nozzle of the vacuum and start to vacuum them up before they can reach my feet.  I know this isn’t killing them, but I figure if I can get them all contained into the vacuum bag I can get it outside.  I know the bag is almost full though, so I yell at my friend to get behind me and go find my mom’s vacuum to get the rest of them.  She brings my mom instead, who comes up the hall with a couple of empty plastic bowls (like the kind that margarine is sold in) and says I should just scoop them up in those and toss them outside that way.  I start to argue with her (the bugs BITE!  and it HURTS!) but she points out they are all dead.  I look down and see that the room had been flooded with water, and most of the bugs are laying in a puddle in the carpet, barely moving.  I look closer and a lot of them look like tiny fish (about the size of my pinky nail) covered in small white spikes.  The water is running slightly downhill down the hall… seeping really… and I see a hole in the floor behind the hallway door where some of these things seem to be falling down a drain.

*I’m standing in line at an event, trying to get to the bathrooms.  There is a long line and though the use of the bathrooms is free, you have to pay for toilet paper prior to going in (if you want to use toilet paper)  There are two lines, one is slightly cheaper than the other (there are digital signs displaying how much the toilet paper costs… and the one on the left is fading in and out, but the price keeps going down)  A lot of people in front of me switch to the other line because it’s cheaper, but I stay in the short line.   I finally get to the front of the line and hand the girl 5 bucks, complaining about having to pay for toilet paper after standing in line for soooo damned long.  She is surprised I’m asking for 5 bucks worth of toilet paper… most people get by with the standard dollar amount, but I explain I’m dealing with feminine hygene issues and just give me the damned toilet paper.
She hands me the tissue and I walk through what look like doors to a gymnasium.  I’m expecting to get into the bathrooms, but instead I see another set of longs lines.  Now the lines are co-ed, and I’m pissed that I’ve waited this long and have to go through another set of lines.  I see a line of people leaning against a wall to the left which snakes through another set of gym doors.  I go to the right instead, through large doors to what looks like a bathroom.  People are milling around in here, in and out of doorways which are covered by curtains.  I roll my eyes… I’ve picked the bathroom with less privacy, that’s why there’s no line for this one… there are only curtains and they don’t close all the way either.  I don’t care at this point… then I look closer and see people are going behind the curtains two at a time.  I look again and realize these aren’t toilets, they are deep mud baths.  This is some kind of spa treatement and the people here are going and dipping themselves into mud puddles which are each separated by curtains.  It’s two or three people to a tub, and people don’t seem to mind climbing in with strangers.  There are no visible sides between the mud pits and the floor… the floor just sort of turns into mud pits as you get closer to them.  I walk out and find a couple of porta-potties so I decide I’m just going to use one of those.  As I get to one, it changes slightly and appears to be something I have to climbe down into from above.  There are a couple of guys in the next one (one guy sitting inside the porta-potty, and his head comes out the roof, his friend is standing next to him talking)  I lift the lid to mine and reach in… inside is what looks like the seat inside a boat cabin.  I have to reach in and pull up on the back of the seat to lift the entire cushion up & reveal the toilet seat underneath.  After doing that, I climb down into the box… that’s when I discover the floor is FILTHY… an inch of yellowish water covers the floor.  I try to step in without stepping on the floor at all, but it’s impossible.

I’ve fallen out of the habit of reminding myself to remember and record my dreams during the week… it’s a schedule thing… lately I collapse into bed exhausted at night and jolt awake with the alarm before I can think.  This weekend I took notes, but didn’t have time to sit and write them until now:

I am an FBI agent, I’ve taken a trip to a lab.  The owner of the lab doesn’t like me being here, someone next to me asks what his problem is, and I say “He doesn’t like to cooperate with the FBI”  The lab owner’s assistant is showing us around.

*I have a note that says:

Woman = faerie… borrowng equipment w/ OG to fly

*I’m at a school – we are late packing up… the class is on a field trip of some kind and as we scramble to get our stuff together I realize we are going to miss the commuter train back to where we came from.  I saw the class ahead of us and tried to yell for them to wait, but the teacher didn’t hear… she just kept on walking with the class.  I lose sight of them as we race to get our stuff and run to catch up.  The crowd becomes too thick, I’m in a panic trying to find them… it’s too crowded and chaotic here… there are trains criss-crossing everywhere – they are double decker trains that are filled with commuters.  Though I know the class is already on a train by now (most likely) I keep heading in the direction we were supposed to go… I figure I’ll just try to get on the next train going in the same direction.

*I’m sitting in the back seat of a car, I have a desk phone and I’m trying to set up a new voice mail system.  I’m pushing the buttons to restart the process several times.

*I’m driving a red VW Beetle (late 90’s or early 2000’s) right hand drive.  My eldest sister is next to me, at least one of her daughters is in the back seat (possibly two)  I pull into a parking lot so she can run into the convenient store – it’s a small strip mall, mostly brown in color.  I pull in too close to the column for the building and bump the upper left corner of the car.  I pull back slightly and my sister gets out of the car to run into the store for a drink.  I walk around the car and check the damage… the roof of the car has some kind of decorative… it looks like a spoiler, but it is up above the windshield instead of on the back of the car.  I clipped the corner of the spoiler on the column, and as I look at the damage… it at first looks like a small dent, then I rub it with my finger and the outer shell crackles and drops away, revealing the inner workings of the spoiler.  It is all made of plastic… the main structure is a series of plastic parts which pop together to make the frame of the spoiler, then the outer decorative portion seems to be glued on with some kind of putty.  When I touch the putty, it is sticky.  I’m showing my sister – she feels bad that I’ve damaged my car, but I point out that it looks like it is really cheaply made, and this part should be easy enough to replace – it’s just a decorative sort of thing and not vital to the car, so I should be able to order a new one from the factory and pop it onto the car myself.
We pull out of the parking lot, and I drive down a slight hill to the intersection with the main road.  I can’t quite remember which direction to drive… there is a grassy hill in front of me, and the road goes either to the right or the left.  It seems like there is a freeway onramp to the left of where we are at.
I’m sitting next to my nieces on the platform for a mass transit train.  We’ve come to a park and ride, because it’s easier to park here than it is to park in the movie theater parking lot, we just have to make sure we get on the right train.  I’m looking over a map, and I see red and green lines indicating where the tracks lead.  It seems to me the town we are trying to get to is not on the map, we need to go to a transfer station in the middle of this map, then take a train that goes perpendicular to the tracks that are on this map.
