March 10
Notes from the other night:
*Trying to get out of building, stuck in elevator
*Framing images – the image is stretched across three canvases, I’m trying to get all three into one frame, but the frame isn’t strong enough, the canvases are coming apart where they overlap. The colors of the image are bright – red, yellow…
*I’m walking through a mall or school, trying to find a bathroom.
Notes from last night:
I’m walking through a manufacturing plant – they are producing items that I am allergic to – I watch as the machine spits out blobs of this food – it looks uncooked to me. I am saying something about this to them, they don’t appear to care about cleanliness or food production standards. As I turn to leave they are throwing their product at me, I’m hit in several places and begin to react to the allergen. I get in the car and S is driving me out of the parking lot… I’m telling him to take me to the neared emergency room. There is an urgent care facility closer (we are in a strange town, not where we live) I run inside… it is the middle of the night and there is nobody in the lobby. I run up to the front desk, by now my throat is closing up, it is difficult to breathe… it feels as though someone is squeezing my neck closed slowly. The woman behind the desk asks how she can help me, I point to my neck and mouth the word “anaphylaxis”. She stands up, hitting a call button to get a nurse to come out and get me… she walks me to a large room with several beds separated by curtains. She points to a gown for me to change into, my skin is breaking out in hives and I’ll need to shower to get the allergen off of me.
